Senate To FCT Residents: Kill Any Cow Found In Abuja City

The Senate, through its Committee on FCT, Monday, asked residents of Abuja metropolis  to, henceforth, slaughter cows found in the city centre.
The directive was handed down to the Minister of
Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, on 27th September by
Chairman of the committee, Senator Dino Melaye, (APC, Kogi West), when he appeared before the committee,
Melaye, who gave the order in a speech read at the
session ordered the FCT Minister to go beyond the ban by facilitating the slaughtering order issued the senate committee. As  it was very disappointing, annoying and embarrassing that despite the ban placed on cattle grazing in FCT by FCTA authority, some stubborn herdsmen were still moving cows along and across highways within the metropolis.

Man Throws His 3Year-Old Brother Into The River And Watch Him Drown

25-year-old man, Ogobuchi Ogbonna, has reportedly
killed his three-year-old stepbrother, Wisdom Ogbonna, at
Ndebor Nchoko village, Igbeagu community in Izzi Local
Government Area of Ebonyi State. Ogobuchi allegedly tied
Wisdom to a big stone and threw him inside the stream in

NTA Office Attacked By Gunmen And They Burndown Building In Onitsha

Mr Chris Nwigwe who is the Acting Manager of the Station, told
newsmen in Onisha that the incident occurred at about 1.40am on Wednesday "when some armed men tried to attack the staff on duty but only succeeded in burning down the Star Times building.”

60 Year-Old Man Killed By Flood In Osun State

The victim, simply identified as Elder Olabode,
was said to have been trapped in his car by
flood on his way back home on Tuesday
evening, but his lifeless body was recovered
on Wednesday at the bank of River Okooko in
Oke Oniti area of Osogbo.
According to eyewitnesses, the 60-year-old
Olabode was returning home in his car when
he ran into flood and was advised to go back,
but he refused.

90 Year-Old Man Found Alive In The Grave

Samuel Kibure was dumped alive near Mutomo graveyard
along Gatundu-Mutomo Kenyatta road route where he
was discovered by residents of the Village in Gatundu, Kiambu
County, Kenya.

Lagos State Government Sets To Demolish House In The State

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chairman
of the Committee, Tunji Bello who disclosed this in an
interview with journalists on Wednesday, said the Lagos State government will commence a total clean-
