Over thirty children with Albinism have benefited from the
Albino Foundation "Back to School" Education Grant and
Scholarship Project.
The Grant totaling two million naira was secured by the
Foundation from a Corporative Society to support children
with Albinism to acquire education.
At the inauguration of the project in Abuja, beneficiaries of
the Grant thanked the foundation and their partners for the
gesture meant to better the future of their children.
The Assistant Project Specialist of the Foundation, Miss
Oluchi Iwuoha said the two million naira Grant is to support
one hundred Albino children.
The CEO of the Albino Foundation, Mr Jek Epelle said the
whole motive of the Back to School Project was to bridge
the education gap among persons with Albinism in the
country.
Mr Epelle appealed to individuals, corporate organisations
and governments at all levels to support the project to
encourage more children.
The President of the Corporate Society that donated the
Grant, Mr Louis Ogbeifun, also urged Nigerians especially
philanthropists and corporate organisations to come to the
aid of groups such as the Albino Foundation as service to
them is service to humanity.
