Forty four year old James Ndlovu South African pastor who went into the
wilderness on June 17th to seek an encounter with
God and also attempt a thirty day fast.
His fast was without food or water.
Before his adventure, he was said to have disclosed he
wanted to embark on a journey of no food-no-water to
emulate Jesus Christ’s 40 days and 40 nights fasting.
He abandoned all his worldly possessions in search of
God but his end was ultimately as a result of
malnutrition.
His body was reportedly found by a stranger who then
reached out to his family members.
A close family relative was quoted to have said: “He
was a very spiritual man. It’s unfortunate he had to die
this way. After a month, we got the sad news of his
death. He could not reach the 40 days, he died on the
30th day.
