Tiwa Savage and Husband: TeeBillz...Suicide?

The singer’s husband started from how he helped his wife  (Tiwa)
with her career, groomed her and how she is now
turning him into a shadow himself. He also went further
in a series of post on Instagram to accuse the singer’s
mother of being a witch, claiming she is used his star to
‘maintain that of her daughter’s.
No one can point out why there was that kind of
outburst from
Teebillz, early this morning.
However few minutes ago, he deleted all the posts on
Instagram after his last post suggesting he might opt
for suicide really soon. What could be going on? A
quick glance at Tiwa Savage’s Instagram page shows
she uploaded videos early this morning. Top singer,
BankyW, reached out to the singer’s husband in the
comment section of one of his posts, compelling him to
get across to him. Oga Teebillzz has deleted all the
posts but we have it all screen-grabbed here .
A Twitter user, @drewbaba, also revealed that the
singer’s husband was found sitting inside his car on
the Lekki Toll bridge.
TeeBillz has been found and all his posts have been
deleted!

Abuja: Soldier Shoots A Driver And Stabs Another

There has been tension in the Giri community
since when a soldier allegedly shot and wounded a
resident of the area, identified as Danjuma Joshua,
while another person, Manga Lukman Barde, was
also stabbed by the same soldier, last Friday.
An witness said the incident happened around
1:42p.m. when two soldiers, in mufti had
misunderstanding with a driver of a Nissan pick-up
van with registration number XA 339 NAS, who
was carrying timber.
The witness said the driver, identified as Idris
Musa, was driving into the village while the two
soldiers were walking by the side of the road.
“The driver decided to stop after he got close to the
soldiers because there were two vehicles parked by
the road side, narrowing the road,” the witness
said.
“But when one of the soldiers turned back and saw
the driver stopped, he asked the driver why he
stopped close to them,” he said.
The witness said the driver decided to make a
phone call which angered the two soldiers who also
placed a call to their men at the nearby Army base
in the area and the soldiers came in their large
number to the area, inside a Toyota Hilux van.
He alleged that the soldiers started shooting
sporadically and Joshua was hit by a bullet.
He further alleged that it was when Barde, who
was the driver of the incumbent chairman of
Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin
Giri, tried to broker peace between the pick-up van
diver and the soldiers that he was allegedly
stabbed.
When our reporter visited Joshua at the University
of Abuja Teaching Hospital at Gwagwalada, where
he was receiving treatment on Friday, he said he
was hit by the soldiers’ stray bullets when he was
trying to find out what was happening.
The chairman’s driver, who was admitted at a
private clinic in Gwagwalada, could not speak with
our reporter as he was still unconscious.
Reacting to the incident, the chairman of the
council said he was not at home when the incident
happened but one of his security men called to
inform him about the incident.

The chairman called on the security authorities to
fish out those behind the incident.
He cautioned residents, especially youth, not to
take laws into their own hands. When contacted,
the Gwagwalada Divisional Police Officer (DPO),
ASP Rabiu Mohammed, confirmed the incident,
even though he said the matter is before the
military authorities.
He said: “When the incident happened, I called and
informed the military authorities and I believe that
they are already doing something about the
incident. The FCT police commissioner was also
informed about the incident. “

FG: We can Now Manufacture Pencils In Nigeria, Onu

The Federal Government has given approval for Local
manufacturing of pencils.
The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya
Onu, stated this on political Nationwide, a Radio Nigeria
Network Programme.
Dr. Onu said the Federal Government, through the Ministry
of Science an

d Technology gave an indigenous firm the
contract to produce the product within the next two years.
Dr. Onu said there were available raw materials in the
country for the production of the locally made pencils for
school children and professionals that se pencils in carrying
their functions.
He expressed confidence in the capacity of the private firm
to deliver within the time frame given by the Federal
Government.
Dr. Onu said both Nigeria and China had signed agreement
for higher and advanced technology transfer for economic
advancement of the country.
Contributors on the Social Media Platform said a Multi-
lateral approach from all sectors of the economy should be
adopted in training professionals to contribute to the growth
of the nation's economy.

Buhari Inaugurates N5.6 Billion Nestle Water Factory In Abaji

President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated the N5.6 billion
Nestle Waters factory in Abaji, Abuja, with a promise to
make Nigeria an investment destination in Africa.
Represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the President
said that the construction of the factory demonstrated the
robustness of the nation’s economy and expressed the hope
that the event would further stimulate growth.
He thanked Nestle Foods Company for pioneering the
industrialisation of the rural communities in the country
noting that the occasion reflected the importance of Nigeria
as an investment destination.
The President said that such effort also was a contribution
to the determination of the Federal Government to diversify
the economy and promised that the administration would
provide the enabling environment for private sector
enterprises to thrive.
Mr. Buhari noted that the world would be a better place if
every organisation focused on what it could do for its host
communities.
According to him the administration had identified and put
in place six critical areas in the 2016 budget to drive
economic growth.
He said that the Federal Government would partner the
private sector in business growth adding that the
administration was proud of the resilience and effort of the
private sector to the keep the economy on the right path.
The Minister of the FCT, Mohammed Bello, represented by
Salisu Abdulsalam, said that he was happy that the dream
of making Abuja an industrial hub was becoming a reality.
He said the facility would provide means of livelihood to the
residents of Abuja adding that the territory would remain an
investment choice.
The Minister appealed to other investors to take advantage
of easy access to land, tax holidays and peaceful
environment to invest in the territory.
In a welcome address, the Managing Director of Nestle
Nigeria, Dharnesh Gordhon, said that the factory was the
company’s third in Nigeria, first major investment in the
North, and the most modern water processing factory in
Central and West Africa.
According to him the company will continue to believe in
the country as well as in the business opportunities as
Nigeria remains Africa’s investment destination of choice.
The Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, David
Ifezulike, thanked the Bank of Industry for providing the
long term financial support to establish the factory as well
as supporting the expansion of the company’s cereal and
culinary plants in its Agbara, Ogun, factory.
While noting that Nestle factories drove rural development,
the chairman said the company was proud to spread the
climate of progress to Abaji and leave another notable
landmark on the Abuja industrial landscape.
The Executive Vice President of Nestle S.A., Marco
Settembri, said that the organisation was “committed to
helping people lead healthier lives as water is surely the
best way to fulfill daily hydration needs.
He acknowledged the responsibilities facing the company in
the new community and promised to ensure better water
utilisation and waste management, ensure sustainability of
water supply and raising children’s awareness about
healthy hydration and water conservation.
He further promised to create jobs as well as contribute to
develop technical competencies locally by establishing a
technical training centre for the youth in Abaji.
The Country Manager of Nestle, Jason Lambe, observed
that the investment of N5.6 billion along with the
company’s future investment plans showed its commitment
to growing Africa’s largest economy.
The Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, Eric Mayoraz,
underscored the importance of the economic and diplomatic
relations between his country and Nigeria which facilitated
the sighting of the project.

He said Switzerland would continue with its capacity
building and education programmes in Nigeria and would
offer five new scholarships to Nigerians.
Newsmen report that Nestle had done business in Nigeria
for 55 years while the Abaji factory would create 111 new
jobs and produce its Nestle Pure Life water.
