state.
The baby was dumped in a river

near a slaughter
slab in Modakeke, Ile-Ife this evening, apparently
dumped there by the mother in the early  hours of
today.
The baby

was found dead with the umbilical cord
still attached.

OMG; Two Healthy Children Brought Out Of A Dead Pregnant Woman

 

This incident happened yesterday in Cameroun. A pregnant

women went to the hospital, but was rejected by doctor
because she could not pay for treatment, and she died. Her
corpse was kept in front of the hospital. People notice her
stomach was shaking because the twins she was carrying
in her belly were about to die. Still. The doctors. Refused to
assist. A woman took a knife and opened the dead
woman's stomach and brought out the twins alive.

Native Doctor And Others Arrested With Human Parts

About four persons suspected to be human parts dealers
were  arrested on Monday 4th April 2016 by police detectives attached to the
Delta State Police Command, Asaba.
Among the suspects arrested
were two native doctors who were allegedly involved in
selling human parts in Asaba, Issele-Azagba and its
environs.
According to reports, the suspects were arrested in
possession of the hand of a man allegedly cut off from his
body by unknown persons. The human part was found inside the boot of the suspects’
vehicle on their way to the eastern part of the country
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mrs.
Celestina Kalu, disclosed that the arrest was stirred
following a tip  through a petition forwarded to the
command.
Kalu revealed that it was during the process of a stop-and-
search on the suspects that they found the human hand in
their boot in a sack of bag while some of the accomplices
fled.
She further disclosed that the suspects are currently
undergoing interrogation by the force.
Kalu said: “It is true that we arrested four persons and two
native doctors with human parts, but we are interrogating
them with the exhibit we recovered from them in the vehicle.
They were travelling to the eastern part.”
The state police spokespersons said the leader of the gang
identified as Samson interrogation, confessed that they sold
human parts to native doctors, who often lodged into a hotel
behind the stadium in Asaba.
Investigations revealed that some mortuary workers and
armed robbers allegedly supplied the parts to the dealers
who in turn sold to native doctors in Ondo State and some
parts of the eastern states.

NMA This is Alarming; Over 1.6million Nigerians Live With Diabetes

Over 40,000 Nigerians have died from diabetes in 2015,
not forgetting about one million country men and women
who have the disease but are yet to be diagnosed and
treated, and another estimated 3.85 million people with
impaired glucose tolerance, a pre-diabetic condition.
This was revealed by the Nigerian Medical Association
(NMA) in a statement signed by its President and Secretary
General, Dr. Kayode Obembe and Dr. Adewumi Alayaki
respectively, in commemoration of the 2016 World Health
Day with the theme; “Halt the rise, beat diabetes”.
Statistics revealed that more than 1.6 million Nigerians
who are living under the scourge of diabetes have
constituted a national prevalence of 1.9 per cent who spend
up to N53, 000 annually for their treatment, and this mainly
is an out-of-pocket expenditure.
The Association lamented that despite warnings by
epidemiologists of the ‘epidemic’ of non-communicable
diseases of which diabetes and obesity are front runners,
and the flag-off of a nation-wide campaign for healthy living
and periodic medical check-ups in 2013 by the Association,

not much has been done to chart a national response to
halt the rise of diabetes.
Diabetes is not just a medical issue but one with a huge
multi-sectoral and socioeconomic dimension and severe
burden on the health system and national economy, through
direct medical expenditures and loss of man hours and

OMG In Lagos: Family Burnt To Death As Fuel Explode

A man simply identified as
Shabi and his two daughters, 18 year old Mistura and
16 year old Adura, were burnt to death. According to PM News they died after some Jerry
cans of petroleum products stored at their home in 5
Adebiyi Street, Somolu Oja in Lagos exploded yesterday
night.
The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak
Fadipe, said the petrol was stored close to the kitchen
where the family cooked their meal.
